What this site is
STL Finder searches other people's 3D model libraries and shows you what it finds. Those models are hosted by, and belong to, those libraries and their creators — not us. Each result links back to its source, and the license shown on each card comes from the source. Check it there before you rely on it.
Separately, people with an account can upload their own models here. Those are the only files this site actually stores.
Your uploads
You keep ownership of what you upload. By uploading, you confirm that:
- you made it, or you otherwise have the right to publish it under the license you chose;
- you have answered the AI-generation question honestly;
- it is a 3D model, not something else wearing a model's file extension.
You grant us permission to store your file and show it to visitors, so that the site can do the one thing it exists to do. You can delete anything you uploaded at any time, which removes the file from disk.
What we collect
If you never sign in, we set no cookies and store nothing about you.
If you sign in with Google, we receive and store your Google account ID, name, email
address and profile picture URL, and set one HttpOnly session cookie so you
stay signed in for 30 days. Your name and picture appear on models you upload. We do not receive
your Google password. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking on this
site; Google's sign-in script is only loaded if you are not already signed in.
Your search terms are sent to the libraries being searched — that is how searching works — and are not logged here. Recent searches are kept in your own browser's local storage and never leave it.

Copyright and takedowns
If something uploaded here infringes your copyright, email hello@fetchstl.com with the model's URL, what it infringes, and enough detail to confirm you are the rights holder or acting for them. We will remove it. Repeat infringers lose their account.
For results that link to other libraries, we host nothing — contact that library.
Rules
Don't upload other people's work as your own, anything unlawful, anything designed to cause harm, or malware. Don't hammer the API. We can remove content and accounts that break these rules.
No warranty
This site is provided as-is, with no guarantee that it will be available, that results will be accurate or complete, or that a license shown here matches the source. Printing has real-world consequences — check dimensions, tolerances and the model itself before you print anything that has to fit, hold weight, or be safe. The source library's own model page is always the authority on licensing.

If this page changes materially, the date below changes with it.
